Rev Bev is a performance artist who is comfortable in front of any size audience. A vocalist since a child, she now uses public presentations, drama, music, and poetry to draw an audience into her message that  becomes the universal language of the heart. She is also a unique teacher and communicator comfortable talking about sex and God in the same sentence.

She received her Doctor of Ministry degree from the Chicago Theological Seminary  specializing in pastoral counseling. Her doctoral work focused on revitalizing small churches. Her undergraduate and masters degrees in sociology, specializing in sexuality and family, were awarded by Illinois State University. She has written for The Disciple, The Other Side, Journal for Women and Religion, and Just Women and DisciplesWorld. Rev Bev is an ordained clergy in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and she is certified to teach sex education curricula for youth.

She has testified in Harrisburg advocating standardized procedures for emergency contraception, been honored  by the Lesbian and Gay Law Policy Center (now the Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights) for helping pass the Domestic Partnership Act in Philadelphia, and is focusing on comprehensive sex education on the committee entitled Pennsylvanians for Responsible Sex Education.

Dr. Dale is currently the General Minister & President of the Christian Association at the University of Pennsylvania where her sex-positive ministry is well-known.
